Summary/Objective Driver delivers and pickups fixed scaffolding and swing stage scaffolding as the request of Stone Mountain Access customers. Must have knowledge on DOT logs and pre and post trip inspections.

  • Load trucks from SMA with proper materials for job as directed by supervisor.
  • Transport equipment to and from worksites in SMA owned vehicles.
  • Unload and move equipment from delivery truck to build location as directed by supervisor.
  • Move and load equipment from build location to truck once work is complete as directed by supervisor.
  • Stock inventory as directed.
  • Ensure SMA grounds are free of debris and ice/snow.

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts or in height, precarious positions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud up to 35% of the time. This position is performed in all weather conditions with 90% of work performed outdoors and 10% of work performed inside.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

  • The Mechanic repairs both Stone Mountain Access owned equipment as well as customer owner equipment.

Essential Functions

  • Repair and replace damaged or warn parts of scaffold and swing stage equipment according to all manufacturers’ requirements.
  • Dismantle and reassemble equipment using proper tools.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on tools and equipment.
  • Test equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area free from debris or items not needed for immediate task at hand.
  • Assist and pull orders as needed.
