Summary/Objective
- Warehouse organizes Stone Mountain Access rental equipment and general small repairs as needed.
Essential Functions
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Maintain, warehouse, and inspect all power cords, wire rope, and other items which need an inspection prior to being placed in the rent-ready storage areas.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area free from debris or items not needed for the immediate task at hand.
- Use tools properly for their intended use and maintain all company provided tools and equipment in proper working order.
- Ensure SMA grounds are free of debris and ice/snow.
- Light building maintenance as required.
- Transport equipment to and from worksites in SMA owned vehicles.

Supervisory Responsibility
- None required for this position.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud up to 50% of the time. This position is performed in all weather conditions with 90% of work performed outdoors and 10% of work performed inside.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, first shift, 40 hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
- Occasional day and overnight travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
- Forklift experience preferred.
Required Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to speak, read and write English required.
- Ability to speak, read or write Spanish preferred.
Math Skills
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100ss. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Computer Skills
- None required for this position.
